It is with a heavy heart that our offices have decided to temporarily close as of 1:00PM on March 17th, 2020 in the face of the COVID-19 Coronavirus Crisis. While we understand what an inconvenience this poses for many of our patients, especially those who have appointments scheduled and those waiting to pick up glasses or contacts, it is a decision made with our patients’ and the greater communities safety in mind.
Please be assured that once we are able to resume normal business hours, you will be notified and all missed appointments will be rescheduled. It was our sincere wish to provide you with more notice in the event of a temporary closure but the quickly developing crisis has left us with little choice other than taking extreme measures to protect everyone.
If you have concerns, you may email them to our office email at firstname.lastname@example.org as this will be monitored throughout our closure.
At this time, we do not know when our offices will reopen and this may be subject to local, state or national restrictions as the crisis develops. If you have an eye emergency and need to be seen immediately, please contact one of our associated ophthalmology offices: Specialty Eye Institute at 877-852-8463 or Rosenbaum Eye & Laser Center at 517-393-2020.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will make decisions about reopening based on the safety of our patients and communities. Please be assured that if you are waiting to pick up glasses or contacts, your products will be made available to you as soon as the current crisis is sufficiently resolved for us to be able to safely provide you with them. If you are waiting for an appointment or testing, please know we will contact you to reschedule as soon as we are able to safely reopen.
We appreciate the value of the trust you have placed in us to care for you and your family and our thoughts are with you. Please stay safe during this difficult time.
